No two ceremonies are the same because no two couples are the same. Below are common options that couples may choose to incorporate in their ceremony. We welcome you to include that which reflects you!
We love children and no wedding would be complete with out the full range of generations in your family. We welcome couples to include their children as ring bearers, flower girls, junior bridesmaids, and junior groomsmen. A heads up however, we do not allow loose flower petals (or similar) for flower girls to toss. We do welcome the little ones to carry our "Here Comes The Bride" sign to help the bride make her grand entrance!
Bridesmaids & Groomsmen
Every Bride & Groom should celebrate this big day with his and her best people at their side. We welcome couples to include as many bridesmaids and groomsmen as they would like. There is plenty of room at the front for everyone!
Adding a unity candle or sand ceremony
You may choose to add a unity candle, sand ceremony or any ceremony element you would like. You will need to bring any necessary ceremonial elements (such as the candles, holders, sand, vessels, etc.) but we will provide ceremony wording as well as a table to set up the ceremonial elements.
Each ceremony at The Vow Exchange includes the vows as part of the ceremony. However, we do invite couples to write and share their own in they choose. If you have indicated you would like to write your own on your questionnaire, just bring them along on the day of your wedding. We do not need them ahead of time. During the ceremony, the officiant will indicate when you are to read your vows.
We welcome couples to invite an honored guest to do a reading as part of their ceremony. If you have indicated you would like to add a reading on your questionnaire, just bring it along on the day of your wedding. We do not need it ahead of time. During the ceremony, the officiant will indicate when it is time for the reading.
We are very open to incorporate any element to your ceremony you would like. Just let us know what you have in mind and we will make it happen.
